Anzac Day 2023 was commemorated at Historic New Italy with a small ceremony at the Honour Roll in the Museum. A wreath was laid in memory of the 13 young men from the Italian families that settled New Italy who volunteered for service with the 1st AIF, and for the many descendants of those families who also served in WW2 and later conflicts. Lest we forget.
