You are cordially invited to attend the 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of The New Italy Museum Inc. to be held in the New Italy Community Hall at Historic New Italy at 2pm on Sunday 9 March.

An important part of the AGM is the election of committee members. These are the people who manage your association’s activities and, generally, “get things done”. Fresh ideas, additional expertise and enthusiasm for pursuing the ideals of your association are vital. Please do not assume that all current members will be re-nominating for the committee. We welcome new nominations!

This year the AGM will start at 2pm. We will be joined by a very entertaining guest speaker, Dr John Davies, who will talk on his ongoing research into the photography of Joseph Check. Many will be aware that Check’s photographs are well represented in our museum. They are important visual records of the development of the New Italy Settlement. For more details see the Agenda.

After John’s talk we will enjoy an afternoon tea. The AGM will follow as per the Agenda.
